Automatic Recirculation Valve (ARV) is a multifunctional valve whose primary purpose is to ensure that a pre-determined minimum flow is assured through a centrifugal pump at all times. This in turn has created a need for centrifugal pumps with high heads and low specific speeds.
The ARV automatically protect the centrifugal pumps when pumps body occur cavitation damage or unstable (especially conveying hot water at low load operation medium), once pump flow is lower than the presented flow, bypass can completely open to ensure the minimum required flow pump. Our Automatic Recirculation Valve has superior performance and long service life. Acting as a bypass and non-return valve, it also provide protection for pumps against overheating and cavitation, and protect against the reversal of flow during shut down.
