Baldur’s Gate 3 is climbing up the Steam Weekly charts. Larian Studio’s upcoming RPG managed to outperform all other premium titles on Valve’s store last week.
Baldur’s Gate 3 ranked third on Steam’s Global Top Sellers chart for the week of July 11-18, behind only two Valve’s products — Steam Deck and its evergreen free-to-play shooter CS:GO.
This means BG3 generated more money than any other premium game on the platform last week (Valve ranks products on its charts based on their weekly revenue, not units sold).
Baldur’s Gate 3 is followed by BattleBit Remastered, a low-poly massive multiplayer shooter that sold nearly 2 million copies in its first two weeks, and Dave the Diver, a hit game by Nexon’s subsidiary Mintrocket.
Jagged Alliance 3, a new installment in the classic series of turn-based strategy games, ranked as the fifth highest-grossing premium title last week (10th when including free-to-play games). And Capcom’s PvPvE action game Exoprimal placed 13th (21th overall).
Naraka: Bladepoint experienced the biggest breakthrough in the past week, climbing from 19th to 5th overall place on the chart. This is due to the game going free-to-play, which also helped it break its concurrent player record, peaking at over 264k CCU (via SteamDB).

Baldur’s Gate 3 will launch globally on August 3 after almost three years of Early Access. It has already caused debate among other game developers, with some of them refusing to consider it a new standard for RPGs and urging players not to judge all other titles in the genre by this project.
